Brand voice and briefs, per client,so every draft starts on-brand.

Writers and assistants draft for several brands every week. MeshTale keeps each client’s voice, briefs and feedback in its own workspace, so drafts start from the right rules.

Northwind only

Plain and confident, short sentences, no exclamation marks. Do not call the product the fastest: legal removed that claim, and last year’s brief that used it is superseded.

The problem

One drive of brand guidesmakes every brand sound alike.

Content teams and their assistants write for several brands at once, and each has its own voice, banned phrases and approved claims. When guidelines sit in one shared drive, an assistant borrows the wrong brand’s tone or repeats a claim the client has withdrawn.

An example (fictional)

Priya asks an assistant for three launch posts for Northwind. The drafts borrow Kestrel’s tagline style and a product claim from last year’s Northwind brief that legal has since removed, so the edits take longer than writing them would have.

Start with one brand, then widen it when it works.

Three steps, each one a real part of the product. You keep working in the tools you already use.

Step 1

One workspace per brand

Each client’s guide, briefs and feedback live in their own workspace, so a Northwind draft never starts from Kestrel’s voice.

Step 2

Keep briefs current

When a newer brief contradicts an older one, MeshTale flags it. The one a person keeps is the one assistants see.

Conflict alerts

Step 3

Draft with citations

Every suggestion points to the guide, brief or feedback it came from, so an editor can check it quickly.

Search & recall

Questions people actually ask, answered from the right place.

Ask it like a colleague

From any connected assistant. Every answer comes back cited.

  • What tone does this client’s brand guide ask for?
  • Which claims has legal approved for this launch?
  • What did the client change in the last round of feedback?
  • Have we already written about this topic for them?

When you may not need MeshTale

If you write for one brand and its guide fits on a page, a pinned document may be enough.

Questions

When a newer brief contradicts an older one, MeshTale alerts a person to decide. The older one is marked superseded and stops coming back in answers.

Yes. Each workspace has its own collections, and each collection can carry its own sensitivity default and retention.

Only if you choose to give them access. Your team decides which people and assistants can use each workspace.
